Here is a vid of the Czech OM-90. The video description explains what little I know. The mask is manufactured by Gumárny Zubří, INC. This is the newest Czech mask that supersedes old stock such as the OM-10 series masks. Some fantastic pics of the mask in service can be found at http://www.himgorodok.ru/?cat=63.
The mask bears close resemblance to Avon's S10/SF10/AR10/N10 facepiece and its respective licensed copies. It is possible that the OM-90 design was inspired by the Avon design, but the obvious differences possibly may be due to avoiding any licensing complications or issues with Avon. Just a speculation. The mask allows for the filter to be mounted either side. The exhale vale, unlike Avon's design, is situated under the chin.

I should be getting one of these in April, after they restock on size 2, currently they only have size 1 and 3 from around 2005, but they are still sealed. I need a size two though, so it looks like I might be getting a recent one if they have any ones left over from after the military buys the shipment. Did you gt your from Lexikon, or Ebay, where did you get it?

Yeah, mine was bought not too long ago from lexikon. Keep us posted with yours. Sounds neat. I want one of the Gumarny Zubri OPCH-05 positive pressure suits to go with it Bet those aren't cheap.

Yeah I am getting the mask, along with some extras, like the bag, and canteen and filter, for a birthday from my uncle and parents. My dad found out by contacting them that we can buy military issued masks new from them(not many companies will do that, look at Avon for example). Shipping will be pain, as it will be shipped to my grandparents house in Trutnov(near the Polish-Czech border), or to my uncle in Prague, then here to California. Next I go to Europe, my dad and I agreed to go to the store they have set up . Philip

If you are already going to be sending them an email about the OM-90, that would be great. Don't go out of your way to do so though if it isn't in your own personal interest to do so. Either way, I appreciate the consideration.

Well we will be asking every once in a while about them having an om90 in stock, so we try to ask them.
